It's Time

It’s time.
It’s time to leave this place.
It’s time to leave this place of mystery, this place of possibilities.
This place that holds the joy, the tears, the fears and the love of so many men before me.
This place of solitude;
Reborn each day with the symphony of birds at first light, singing ancient songs in perfect harmony.
This place of movement;
Guided by the wind passing through canyon walls, sometimes gently, sometimes fierce…but always with ease and perfect
flow…a perfect wind.
A perfect wind that calls the leaves to dance their joyous dance, and the grasses wave their waves of humility…with
just a whisper from the lips of God.
It’s time to leave this place.
It’s time to leave this place where men have gathered to stand naked in body and soul and take their journey
together and alone.
Men of all generations, origins and means…strip away what separates to reveal what unites.
A bond of generosity, of gratitude, of love.
It’s time.
It’s time to leave this place.
It’s time to leave this place where men bare their souls and reclaim their kingdoms.
The journey home is not easy and the road reveals many turns…but once home, secure on their northern throne,
the Sovereign will reign with grace, with purpose.
In the east and west, the Lover and Magician will dance their dance…but this time they will dance to the music
I write, to the tempo I set, to the song I sing.
In the south stands my Warrior…fierce, still, ready.
This kingdom…my kingdom…is complete;
…is transformed.
It’s time.
It’s time to leave this place where so many kingdoms have been built through tears and courage, and so
many more still waiting for the call.
And the call goes out to all men, of every color, every creed, every country…
To enter this canyon, take this sacred journey and touch their souls.
Our children depend on it;
Our planet weeps for it;
Our salvation rests on it.
It’s time to leave this place and re-enter the world of time and temptations;
…pain and pleasures.
To re-enter a world longing for soul;
…aching for love;
…needing…desperately needing the truth.
It’s time to leave this place and create a new world…a world where men can stand toe to toe,
eye to eye and heart to heart.
Where men move freely to take right action;
Where men look deeply for the gold in his brother;
Where men speak clearly their intention, their truth…
It’s time to leave this place with an open heart;
…a nourished soul;
…and a soaring spirit.
It’s time to leave this place with hope.
It’s time.
