Beginning with the last Tuesday night of May, MLA launched our one night Wisdom Circles. These
free events will provide us with a unique opportunity to present who we are and what we do in a powerful and generous
way that is very accessible to both men and women. In the months to come Tom, Jeffrey, Keith, Todd and other men from
the Apprenticeship Circle will be offering these experiential events on a variety of stimulating topics.
We had a wonderful turnout for our first session. There were over twenty men plus three brave women. The topic was
Finding Peace with Our Fathers. After a general introduction to the topic and a brief check-in we formed smaller
groups and everyone had the opportunity to drop into a soulful reflection about who their father is or was and how
the relationship with him has impacted their lives. The sharing was, as you might expect, very meaningful and insightful.
These programs will alternate between Denver and Boulder so we can reach more people and reduce the driving time and fuel
use. The July program, Tuesday the 29th, will be held at the Mile High Church of Religious Science in Lakewood at 7 PM,
then back in Boulder at the Waldorf School in August 26th. In July the topic will again be on the importance of fathers
in our lives but we will be using different approaches to this material.
Please spread the word and bring your friends and family. We look forward to seeing you.
