Sapphire Canyon (near Estes Park, CO)
Timing & Logistics:
The long weekend begins with entry Thursday, June 18th, late afternoon, with the gates opening at 4 and 6 PM and ending early afternoon on Sunday the 21st, after camp is cleaned up and organized for its next use.
For those who would like a quiet, more inward time you may arrive on Wed. morning at 11AM and stay on till the close of the event, or just come till Thursday afternoon for a day and a half of slow down time.
And for those who would like a more gradual re-entry after the close of the gathering on Sunday, you may stay until Monday early afternoon.
What you will need to bring:
- Tent (tarp), sleeping bag and pad
- 2 Gallons of water/person/day for drinking and cooking
- Your food & utensils, water bottles (stoves and some cooking gear & clean-up stuff provided)
- Personal toiletries (TP & hand washing stuff provided)
- Clothes for a full variety of temp extremes, wet & dry, day and night
- Personal journals, instruments, costumes, ritual objects, toys, etc.
- Please don’t bring- electronic gear/games, pets, firearms/fireworks, alcohol, or illegal drugs.
Costs:
Sliding scale for adults - $75-150, kids under 14 free.
