A non-denominational retreat for the renewal
of men's hearts and souls, meeting for the 23rd year.

You are warmly invited
You are invited to join us in the mystery of life’s journey. The Call is to come together in this winter season of stillness for blessing, wonder and renewal. This year we will bridge the generations with young adult and elder circles. We will share our life story through our struggles and celebrations in the ever-unfolding body and soul passages of life. It will be a time to look into our future and past, to learn from one another's life experience and vision.
How can we better care for ourselves so that we are agents of healing in this wounded world? How can we inspire our circles with clear passion that comes from an open heart? Thus the inquiry from our core life questions and wonders. Together we will lean into our enriched potential. In this 23-year tradition we will invite both solitude and community, celebrating all the ways we live, and the earth we share.
Support and the intention of the gathering
be inspired by each other, be open to listening, healing, connection and laughter. We’ll utilize the pan-cultural set of tools found in storytelling, poetry, music, ritual, round dance, metaphorical process and council. All spiritual beliefs and ways are welcome at these winter retreats. Each man chooses to engage and create the experience in his own way, the way that best works for him.
Held in a form of listening and witness, the gathering is a time to embrace the spirit of winter, the time of ending and rebirth, the time of dropping deeply into our souls for warmth and awakening. What is surfacing in winter’s story for you this year?
Heaven lies about us
in our infancy! Shades of the prison-house begin to close upon the growing boy...At
length the man perceives it to die away, and fade into the light of common day

Young men Eighteen and Older
and Elders are Encouraged to Attend.
Each man has a unique contribution to make--one that he alone brings, and that is essential to our collective wisdom. Many times we have had father and sons attend, which can be quite fulfilling for all. A few times we have even had three generations from the same family. This will be a powerful time you will not want to miss! We encourage you to come and gift yourself with this precious time, and reach out to other men to bring with you, even sponsoring them if you can.
