This gathering is for any man who
has attended a MLA retreat
at any point throughout the years.
Join us for this extended weekend gathering to reconnect with yourself, the land we all so dearly love, and our community of men. Come reconnect and remember, share your gifts, and joy in fellowship with our community of brothers.
This will be a time co-created by all those in attendance.
~ Cook meals together in our outdoor kitchen under the big tarp
~ Converse with men you haven’t seen for years and new brothers as well
~ Sit in council to share about life’s joys and challenges
~ Reconnect with the energy from the retreats you attended in the past and reflect on your growth and journey since that time
~ Look in the mirror of the faces of your brothers and stand tall as a man among men
Together we will form the flow of our days. You will be invited to offer your gifts – a drum workshop, tai chi movement, storytelling or poetry workshop, rattle making, council on a topic near and dear to you, or whatever your heart wants to share.
Together we will re-inspire each other through storytelling, poetry, music, ritual, dance and much more! We will remember all that has been in our 28 years of gathering men, and look ahead to what is in store for MLA in the future.
