Each month, the Men’s Leadership Alliance presents Wisdom Circles on a variety of contemporary topics.
The Wisdom Circles are offered free of charge, and are designed for men and women of all ages to come together to learn more about stimulating and thought provoking topics, and to participate in personal growth opportunities.
Over time, we anticipate that other groups will become co-sponsors of this program and that its presenters will come from a broad variety of disciplines. We encourage those living in other areas of the country to think about creating Wisdom Circles for men and women in their own hometowns.
"We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aides, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn, which does not forsake us in our soundest sleep."

Ancestry in Progress:
Honoring and Transforming Culture and Lineage
Where do we come from? Who are our people and ancestors? What are their stories? How do those stories of both gold and pain influence, form and affect us?
Our experiences are shaped by those who came before us, often bringing hurtful and destructive storylines into our personal journeys, which can lead to negative beliefs and difficult interactions with ourselves, our families, our communities, and the world.
Through experiential exercises, movement, small group interactions and discussion, this month's Wisdom Circle will create a platform to explore and honor our personal and collective stories as a means to take some steps toward gaining clarity, understanding and acceptance of where we came from in order to transform fear, pain and sorrow into deep joy and compassion.
