Developing and maintaining a healthy masculine self takes regular and ongoing awareness, attention, and support.
For new men, a men’s retreat is a powerful way to transition out of a fragmented life defined by lack, isolation, and resignation and into a life of connection, passion, and purpose by:
- Stepping out of the action of your life and developing a witness self
- Accessing your emotions
- Gaining clarity on your choices and their impact on your life
- Forming connections with other men
- Experiencing a variety of expressions of healthy masculinity
- Awakening to your own self-defined manhood
- Strengthening your witness self and taking action accordingly
- Expressing your emotions more freely
- Directing your choices toward your deepest wants and needs
- Reconnecting with your community of men and deepening into sense of brotherhood
- Practicing your own embodied expressions of healthy masculinity
- Aligning your internal knowing of your self-defined manhood with all areas of your life
To help you begin to define your own sense of masculinity during the retreat you will learn to:
Identify and speak your truth
Engage healthfully with your challenges
Normalize your experience as a man
Form an action plan for the next steps ahead
This time together creates both a level of adaptability and resilience, a time of creativity and possibility that matches up personal fate with the world destiny. This weekend together is a perfect way to practice being witness to your process in the midst of spring.
After the long Minnesota winter the spring season is a potent time to dive deep within yourself to illuminate how you see yourself and present yourself in the world. The growing days of brightness lend for a desire to expand beyond old patterns that have kept you small, disconnected, and distant from yourself and others. This springtime energy invites you to find what it is you are saying yes to in your life – a new way of engaging with your partner or children, creative ways for meeting challenges, new ideas for work, and so on.
Come join us to examine exactly what is, begin to uncover your personal visions, and develop resources to connect your personal visions with the needs and demands of your daily life. Come step into authentic action.
Come be inspired by each other, be open to listening, healing, connection, and laughter. Through storytelling, poetry, music, ritual, movement, metaphorical process and council you will learn how to better care for yourself so that you can inspire your communities with clear passion from an open heart. Sign up now to join us for a weekend full of blessing, wonder, and renewal.
